Bombardier Global 7500 Specs, Interior, Cabin, Cockpit, and Price – Bombardier Global 7500 is a high-speed business jet developed by Bombardier Aerospace. Originally named Global 7000 business jet and renamed Global 7500 at the European Business Aviation Convention and Exhibition (EBACE2018) held in Geneva, Switzerland, in May 2018.

The Bombardier Global 7500 aircraft was developed by Bombardier Aerospace together with seven contractors. They include Parker Aerospace, Meggitt Aircraft Braking Systems, Rockwell Collins, Messier-Bugatti-Dowty, Liebherr-Aerospace, Arrowhead Products, and Apparatebau Gauting. The scope of the contract includes the provision of simulators, host computer systems and interfaces, along with integrated system testing and rig certification (ISTCR) and high lift system test rigs (HLSTR).

The inaugural flight from Global 7000 Flight Test Vehicle 1 (FTV1) and Global 7000 Flight Test Vehicle 2 (FTV2) was conducted in November 2016 and March 2017. The inaugural flight of the third Flight Test Vehicle 3 (FTV3) was completed in May 2017, followed by the fourth Flight Test Vehicle 4 (FTV4) in September 2017. The fifth and final test vehicle, Flight Test Vehicle 5 (FTV 5), made its first flight in January 2018. Bombardier Global 7500 entered service in December 2018.

The final assembly of the aircraft began at the Toronto Bombardier site in Canada in September 2011. The aircraft behind the aircraft was built on the Queretaro site in Mexico. The main business jets receive type certifications from Transport Canada (TC) and the US Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) in September and November 2018 respectively. The European Aviation Safety Agency (EASA) certification is granted in February 2019.

Bombardier Global 7500 has an improved design, while the aircraft's length is 33.71 m, overall height is 8.14 m, and the wingspan is 31.79 m. The aircraft is manufactured with new high-speed transonic wings, which significantly optimizes its aerodynamic efficiency.

Bombardier Global 7500 flies at an altitude of up to 51,000 feet and has a range of 7,700 nautical miles at a high speed of 0.90 Mach. It can fly with a top speed of Mach 0.925 and an average cruising speed of Mach 0.85. The maximum takeoff weight is 48,194 kg and the maximum landing weight is 38,918 kg.

The take-off and landing distances are 5.950ft and 2.810ft respectively. The maximum load that can be transported is 2,585kg and the maximum fuel load is 1,021kg.

Bombardier Global 7500 is powered by a GE Passport thrust engine, which provides 73kN thrust when taking off. It offers a reduction in NOx emissions and requires burning 8% less fuel.

Bombardier Global 7500 is equipped with the Global Vision flight deck and Rockwell Collins avionics system. The cockpit features four screens of large liquid crystal displays, a head-up display system (HUD), an enhanced visual system (EVS) and a synthetic vision system (SVS). The Global 7500 aircraft is equipped with an on-board maintenance system (CSO), datalink, high-speed SATCOM, a new generation cabin management system (CMS) and pilot data link communication (CPDLC).

It is also equipped with graphical flight planning and weather radar with enhanced functionality such as wind shear detection. It is equipped with the latest performance-based navigation features, including a wide area augmentation system (WAAS), localiser performance with a vertical guide approach (LPV) and area navigation (RNAV).

This aircraft has four large zone cabins with a volume of 2.637ftft. It has 20% more cabin space than the Global 6000 aircraft. The cabin has a length of 18.17m, a width of 2.49m and a height of 1.91m.

The cabin can accommodate ten to 19 passengers, as well as two to four crew members. The new enlarged window allows maximum natural light into the cabin. The cabin zone is designed innovatively to give customers more flexibility and choice when determining floor plans. The cabin is also equipped with the latest management system, which ensures the highest level of comfort, comfort and control.

The price of one Bombardier Global 7500 aircraft is US $ 72 Million. Comlux Aviation Group made an order for two Bombardier Global 7500 jets in December 2010. London Air Services ordered $ 65 million in October 2010 for the delivery of one aircraft in 2018. Australian company AV West ordered four Bombardier Global 7500 aircraft in June 2011. Bombardier received a contract from HK Bellawings Jet for the delivery of two Bombardier Global 7500 aircraft in September 2018.

NetJets ordered $ 2.8 billion in March 2011 for Global family aircraft, which included the delivery of Bombardier Global 7500 aircraft. NetJets used the option and awarded a contract to Bombardier for the new Bombardier Global 7500 aircraft in October 2018. NetJets will receive the first aircraft in 2021.
