Boeing 767-300F Specs, Payload, Cockpit, and Price – Boeing 767-300F is a cargo aircraft (freighter) designed and manufactured by Boeing, United States. This cargo plane was developed based on the Boeing 767-300ER long-distance passenger aircraft that has been successful in the market. Boeing launched the 767-300F in May 1995 and entered its first service with the Atlanta-based United Parcel Service in October 1995.

The Boeing 767-300F has a wide fuselage with a wing design that is swept low back and two turbofan engines mounted under the wing. The fuselage, wings and engine cover are constructed of aluminum alloy and composite materials. The overall dimensions of the aircraft include a length of 54.9 m, a height of 15.9 m, and a wingspan of 47.6 m.

The Boeing 767-300F freighter is equipped with a hydraulically reinforced tricycle-type landing gear wheel. In terms of appearance, the 767-300F freighter has an outer appearance similar to the passenger version of the 767-300ER, except that it has no passenger windows and doors.

A smooth fiberglass coating has been installed on the interior of the main fuselage. A fixed rigid barrier is installed at the front of the main deck, functioning as a retaining wall between the cargo area and the flight deck. There are three engine options to choose from, namely General Electric CF6-800C2B7F, Pratt & Whitney PW4062 or Rolls-Royce RB211-524H. Each engine is capable of producing maximum thrust between 264.7 kN and 281.6 kN. This allowed the Boeing 767-300F to fly at a maximum speed of 852 km / h at 39,000 ft (12,000 m) and fly to a range of 3,255 nm. And can transport cargo up to 52,480 kg.

The main deck of the Boeing 767-300F has a length of 39.8 m with a container capacity of 336.5 m³ which can accommodate 24 contoured pallets measuring 235.5 cm x 317.5 cm. Meanwhile, the lower deck has a capacity of 117.5 m³ which can accommodate 30 standard LD-2 containers or 15 LD-1 containers plus bulk cargo.

The main deck and lower deck are equipped with automatic and powerful cargo handling equipment. Cargo operators control loading and unloading procedures using interior and exterior, master and local control panels, with joystick controls. The automatic cargo drive unit is distributed throughout the cargo area and moves cargo containers into and out of the aircraft. The power drive unit is equipped with a cargo sensor.

The Boeing 767-300F is equipped with a microprocessor-based control system that uses sensor data to only move the power drive units needed to load each cargo container. Automatic controls prevent unnecessary use of the power drive unit and the power drive unit weighs less than what was installed on the previous aircraft. The cargo handling system is equipped with built-in test equipment.

The main deck cargo system allows almost all types of pallets and containers to be carried. The cargo ship has a large cargo door on the main front deck of the aircraft. This configuration is suitable for easy transfer of pallets and containers commonly used in widebody carriers and single aisles, which allows flight operators to connect goods from one plane to another.

The all digital cockpit is integrated with the avionics suite which includes the Honeywell RDR-4A color weather radar, the FCS-700 flight control system and the Honeywell EFIS-700 electronic flight information system.

The aircraft navigation system includes Honeywell VHF omnidirectional ranger, instrument landing system, beacon transponder marker, automatic direction finder, distance measuring equipment, magnetic radio inductor type RMI-743, radar altimeter, Honeywell inertia reference system, flight management control system and air data computer digital.
