Gulfstream G700 Vs Bombardier Global 7500, Which Business Jet is Better? – Gulfstream G700 and Bombardier Global 7500 are the mainstay business jets specifically developed by each manufacturer to meet the demands of operators in the long distance aviation sector. Both planes have a range that can connect pairs of cities such as Los Angeles to Sydney or Beijing to Cape Town.

The Gulfstream G700 aircraft was developed based on the success of 500+ G650 sales that revolutionized business aviation with its speed and range. Whereas Bombardier Global 7500 is one of the most anticipated business jets ever, with the longest range and longest cabin produced by the manufacturer.

Although the G700's cabin is longer, taller and wider than the Global 7500 cabin, both planes can carry 19 passengers.

The Gulfstream G700 is powered by two Rolls-Royce Pearl 700 engines, each of which can produce 18,250 lb of thrust. Meanwhile, the Bombardier Global 7500 is powered by two GE Passport turbofan engines, each of which provides a thrust of 16,500 lb. Although there are differences in power produced by the engine on each plane. However, both planes were able to fly with the same maximum speed of Mach 0.925 (1.142 km/ h) and the cruising speed of Mach 0.9 (1.073 km/ h).

The maximum range of the Gulfstream G700 aircraft is 7,500 nm, while the Global 7500 has a maximum range of 7,700 nm. There was only a difference of 200 nm range between the two planes, with Global 7500 winning this round. Please note that even though the maximum range of Bombardier Global 7500 recorded is 7,700 nm. However, in early October 2019, the aircraft flew non-stop between Detroit and Sydney with a range of more than 8,200 nm. This is the longest flight ever recorded by a specially created business jet.

The Gulfstream G700 is priced at US $ 75 million, while Bombardier Global 7500 is priced at US $ 72.8 million. The G700 is only 3% more expensive than the Global 7500.

In the end, the two planes have identical max speeds, high speeds, and long distance speeds. Bombardier Global 7500 has a cheaper price and flies even further. On the other hand, the Gulfstream G700 has a larger cabin.
