Gulfstream G650ER Specs, Interior, Cockpit, and Price

Gulfstream G650ER Specs, Interior, Cockpit, and Price – Gulfstream G650ER is a long-term business jet developed by Gulfstream Aerospace, a General Dynamics subsidiary. It is a long-range variant of the Gulfstream G650 aircraft and has a maximum operating speed of 0.925 Mach, which makes it one of the fastest business jets in the world. The G650ER business jet was launched at the European Business Aviation Convention (EBACE) held in Switzerland in May 2014.

Gulfstream G650ER received a type certification from the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) in October 2014, while the European Safety Safety Agency (EASA) was received in April 2016. It was also given a certificate validation type from the Chinese Civil Aviation Administration in February 2017.

Gulfstream G650ER Specs

Gulfstream G650ER shows its ability to fly the farthest distance, by traveling 14,835 km from Singapore to Las Vegas in 14 hours and 32 minutes at a speed of 904 km / hr, in January 2015.

The maximum and initial height of the aircraft are 51,000 feet and 41,000 feet, respectively. The aircraft can reach cruising heights within 25 minutes after takeoff. The aircraft's maximum landing weight is 37.875kg.

Gulfstream G650ER Engine

Gulfstream G650ER is powered by two Rolls-Royce BR725 A1-12 engines, which develop a maximum takeoff thrust of 75.20 kN. BR725 A1-12 is part of the Rolls-Royce BR700 engine family.

The BR725 engine offers time between overhauls (TBO) of up to 10,000 hours, reducing maintenance costs. This environmentally friendly engine also produces emissions and low noise levels, while its high performance allows maximum takeoff weight of 46,992 kg at higher speeds.

The maximum passenger capacity of the G650ER is 19, while the aircraft can carry eight passengers to a maximum distance of 11,853 km at a maximum speed of 956 km / hr. The aircraft's long distance speed is 904 km / hr.

Gulfstream G650ER Cabin and Interior

Gulfstream G650ER has a large cabin compared to other business aircraft in its class. The cabin offers a total interior length of 16.33 m and can be adjusted according to customer requirements. The spacious cabin has wide chairs and large hallways, and is equipped with 16 panoramic windows to allow sunlight to enter the cabin and kitchen.

The G650ER provides uninterrupted connectivity to passengers with built-in wireless internet facilities and multi-channel satellite communication systems. Passengers can control internal temperature, electronic devices, window shades, and lights using their mobile with the help of the Gulfstream cabin management system (GCMS) mobile application.

Other standard features include high-end television, digital audio and video devices, storage and cooking facilities.

Gulfstream G650ER Cockpit and Avionics

Cockpit Gulfstream G650ER integrates a built-in flight control system that is supported by Thales's three-axis fly-by-wire technology. This technology provides advanced features to reduce weight and optimize fuel intake.

The PlaneView II flight deck system helps pilots to observe aircraft positions, flight conditions and surroundings, as well as the nearest airway, airport, and weather related information. This system combines flight management systems with flight displays and gives pilots a greater view of all data using a cursor control device (CCD).

The superior flight deck G650ER presents important data in an easy-to-read format that increases situational awareness and the speed of the pilot's response.

Smart technology solutions PlaneConnect Monitoring Health and Trends (HTM) in aircraft allows the collection and transmission of aircraft operational data to previously selected operators and reviewers to enable timely maintenance.

Gulfstream G650ER Price and Orders

The price of the latest Gulfstream G650ER is around US $ 70.1 Million. Gulfstream signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with Qatar to ship 20 aircraft, including the G650, G500 and G650ER in October 2014. The order size was increased to 30 aircraft in May 2015. The first G650ER aircraft was sent to Qatar Airways in December 2015.
