Bombardier Challenger 350 Engine

Bombardier Challenger 350 is powered by two developing Honeywell HTF7350 engines, from the HTF7000 series. The engine can produce more thrust with lower emission levels. Each engine can produce take-off power of 7.323lb, which is 7% greater than the HTF7000 engine.

Efficient compressors installed in the engine provide reduced fuel consumption contributing to low operating costs. This engine has vital units that can be replaced, which can be easily replaced during maintenance. The engine is integrated with a single annular combustor technology for emission reduction (SABER), allowing the engine to emit low levels of NOx and CO2.

Bombardier Challenger 350 Cabin

Bombardier Challenger 350 has the widest cabin in its class, with a width of 2.19m and a height of 1.86m. The constant flat floor design of this cabin can accommodate eight passengers in a double club seating layout. Optional layout with side-facing cots to accommodate more passengers is also available.

It has a luggage compartment on the back side. Each window is 2in taller and gives more sunlight and a larger viewing angle than all chairs. The side ledge of Bombardier Challenger 350 is equipped with a tilting touch screen to provide flight information to passengers. Passengers can use fingertip buttons to access cabin controls.

Bombardier Challenger 350 will feature the excellent Lufthansa Technik HD cabin management system, allowing access to all cabin controls from a single device. All cabin controls can be accessed by personal devices through the CMS application.

Each Bombardier Challenger 350 seat is equipped with a multimedia USB port and universal electrical outlet. The multimedia system includes licensed Blu-ray players and Hollywood films on demand, and two HD screen monitors for entertainment. The cabin also offers Iridium satellite phones and a 3D moving map system. Galley Bombardier Challenger 350 can be configured to store simple snacks and also for complete food preparation.

Bombardier Challenger 350 Cockpit and Avionics

Bombardier Challenger 350 presents the Rockwell Collins Pro Line 21 advanced avionics series that integrates the appearance of large matrix liquid crystals (AMLCD). MultiScan weather radar, traffic collision avoidance system (TCAS), integrated flight control systems, synthetic vision systems, dual IRS, flight management systems and main flight displays installed on aircraft provide better situational awareness and reduce the workload on pilots to make more safety flight.

Bombardier Challenger 350 also has an optional SmartRunway feature and a SmartLanding system to alert the crew when approaching the runway too fast or too high. This system allows the aircraft to choose the right runway.

Bombardier Challenger 350 is also equipped with an additional 36-150 Honeywell power unit (APU), an inertial navigation system, and an improved location proximity (EGPWS) warning system database to provide enhanced situational awareness and navigation.
